Battery systems (for Telecom networks applications)
Saft offers Li-ion and Ni-MH battery systems for back-up power on low-voltage (24 V and 48 V) telecom networks.
As well as the electrical and mechanical interfaces, these systems include management, control and communication capabilities compatible with the chargers and standard configurations used for powering telecom networks.
19’’ rack-mounting
Because of the high energy density of Li-ion cells, a complete 48 V (or 24 V) battery system can be implemented in a standard 19’’ rack-mounting, in 1U or 3U height. This makes for easy fitting in compact systems such as BTS units.
Standalone
Especially developed by Saft, special management algorithms implemented in proprietary electronics bring optimized performance, long service life, guaranteed user safety and reliable operation.
