Battery systems (stationary applications)

Saft offers high-voltage battery systems with energy content up to several MWh, comprising Ni-Cd cells mounted in mechanical sub-units for transport and installation, plus centralized filling and electronic monitoring systems. 

Saft also offers systems using high-capacity Li-ion cells, for medium- and high-voltage stationary applications. Depending on the required discharge regime, these systems will use cells from the LP (power), VLM (medium-power) or VLE (energy) ranges, for full discharge over 5, 15 and 60 minutes respectively. Systems are usually rack-mounted, and built from standard energy and control modules. 

Special management algorithms implemented in proprietary electronics bring optimized performance, long service life, guaranteed user safety and extended warranty conditions. Saft can also provide system startup services.
